Palo Santo Sticks
Palo Santo, which translates as βholy wood,β has a long history of ritual use in native South American cultures. Palo Santo sticks are traditionally used in sacred shamanic rituals and spiritual ceremonies for their energy cleansing and medicinal healing properties.
Palo Santo is the common name for wood from the bursera graveolens, a tree native to Peru and Venezuela. It commonly grows in dry tropical forests in places like Peru, Venezuela, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia and Ecuador. The tree is part of the citrus family and its wood carries sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon when burned.
Palo Santo is still widely used today. As with white sage smudge sticks, Palo Santo is used for cleansing and healing rituals. The smouldering wood releases a fragrant, incense-like smoke. This smoke resets energies that have been tainted by negativity or conflict. Burning Palo Santo helps to promote positive energy, attracts sacredness and benevolence, and prepares a space for new occupants.
Palo Santo can also calm the mind and raise your vibration in preparation for meditation, helping to promote a deeper spiritual connection.
All our Palo Santo sticks are organically grown and ethically sourced from sustainable plantations. We supply individual sticks, and we can handle bulk or wholesale orders.
